Porcelain and textile nest with felted eggs
Sold either with or without the antique board, this nest has undergone many layers of transition. It started life as a woven fabric and branch nest and was then covered in multiple layers of porcelain slip over a period of a couple of weeks. It was then fired twice to give it strength and textiles were added again to the bare porcelain form. I felted 3 eggs to go inside the nest so it has had many hours of work spent on it.
Nest 9cm diam x 3cm high. Wooden board 34cm long x 16cm wide.
