Take time, with no sense of urgency, to make beautiful lasting objects which bring joy to the maker and beholder.
Take time, with clear intention to develop a craft through mindful play, experimentation, and delight.
Pushing boundaries, failing, learning and renewing ideas, through new skills learned, bravery and good fortune, new depths of work and understanding emerge and the art will progress, not stagnate.
Feel deep satisfaction in the moment of making and if the play diminishes, take heed, shift position to enable play again. Joy and beauty are the goals.
Stay true to yourself and build on the essence of you, which will intensify the truth of objects made and show in the beauty of the work.
Compromise will inevitably dilute the feel and quality of work. Use your talent and grow with the changing seasons and nature.
