Porcinis
These Porcini / Penny Bun / Cep Mushrooms have been a lovely challenging project. In order to achieve a realistic finish I've been blending underglazes and oxides rather than using a traditional dipped or painted finish. I've also had to play around with textures for their undersides which are unlike a standard gill. They are made using a porcelain stem and underside and a brown clay for the cap. They look great on their own and also in a big wicker basket with others all together.
