This bowl is made from mixed clays to create a matt external finish with an earthy feel - rather like a crust. Inside the theme incorporates cracks to give the impression of parched earth. I’ve wrapped the bowl in a a textile ‘coat’ which can be taken on and off as required but the fabrics are natural linens with hand stitching to mirror the cracks in the base of the bowl. This is one of a kind and I’m pleased with the combination of clays and linens in this statement piece. It is a robust bowl that can be used daily for dry objects.
