Timeworn Rollright Stone Vessel
This is in a series of works that I am currently studying around aged Cotswold stones. In particular this piece was inspired by a trip to the Rollright Stones nearby which is an ancient and spiritual site. I have included photos of the site with this piece to show you the colours and textures that I was aiming to capture. All glazes are mixed from scratch and each piece has its own individual shape. No two pieces are alike and each piece takes several weeks from start to finish to achieve the build up of age.
12cm diam x 24cm high
