Timeworn Dark Bowl
This bowl was thrown on the wheel in a neutral pale coloured clay and was a smooth symmetrical bowl to start with. It has undergone several transformations at different stages. I have worked on it for several hours to change it’s form and add to the body of the initial clay. It has been stretched and cracked and layers added to it during multiple firings and the inside has a fully watertight black glaze. It can be used as an object of art or as a functional piece if required.
21cm diameter x 13cm high
