This porcelain mug was made under the full moon in May 2026, namely the rare Blue Moon which occurs every 3 years. These mugs can be used for cacao ceremonies as I believe they have a special quality being made at this time. I subsequently decorate with moon like textures, incorporating craters and hand made lava glazes to achieve the end result. I will continue to throw bowls and cups during the full moons this year whenever possible. Each moon has its own name and qualities. This moon represents rarity, second chances, heightened intuition, letting go of the old and embracing the new. The inside of each cup is fully glazed and can be used for any liquids. Fully dishwasher proof.
