The Watcher is a fine but strong porcelain watertight vessel that I made on the wheel and then shaped afterwards. He can be used for flowers, foliage, feathers or kept empty. The Watcher has an ancient energy and was made with a will of its own. I have given him tribal (wild clay) warrior stripes on his cheeks, symbolising courage and protection. He carries the quiet energy of something unearthed rather than something newly made. Whilst he is a one off piece I feel he sits comfortably in my Ancient Stone collection as he was made during the time I was working on the Rollright Stones which is tied up with folklore and mystery…
