Thrown on the wheel in white clay this bowl was then altered in shape into an oval shape and the process of adding texture took place. Textiles are also used to create the effect of strands of vegetation. The vessel has a calm watery feel and amongst the reeds you can interpret either water bubbles or spawn. This is stoneware and a robust bowl. Whilst it is textured on the outside it is fully useable in the kitchen with a food safe interior.
