This bowl was thrown on the wheel in black clay and used with the purpose of testing out newly mixed glazes. The effects are really special in areas and I make artist notes on the base of each pot about what to do for future glazing of bigger pieces. It is only by request that I have started to sell my test bowls as they can become quite sentimental if I hold on to them for too long. The decoration is rough to the touch on the outside but the inside is glazed and smooth and is perfectly good as to hold food. DIshwasher safe.
