This hand built oval shaped bowl is made with white porcelain with the small addition of a black clay inserted to form a fissure. Multiple clays are embedded and incorporated into this organic design. There are a couple of light Kintsugi mends using 18 carat gold powder which I now come to expect with the intensity of pressure put on these pieces with the volume of thick glazes overlapped and the shrinking clays. Each piece is completely unique and has its own personality.
