This is in a series of works of usable vessels / vases that are based on a study of the Cotswold Rollright Stones - an ancient and spiritual site. Wild clay from the Cotswold land is incorporated and the pieces are intended to evoke a feeling of age, weathering, built up and breakdown of surface and a quiet purpose. The stone vessels can be thought of as marker stones or meaningful stones.
