This fine and light porcelain vessel is a real contradiction. It is elegant in its construction, a thin porcelain that has a beautiful ring to it and yet all the time I was decorating it with an abundance of glazes, I was thinking about being a graffiti artist and was merrily building up a dramatic and strong feel with black against white. It is not my usual approach at all, just a moment in time, but I had such a good time making this and I’m really pleased with the result! It is dramatic and yet delicate.
