This bowl was thrown on the wheel using porcelain and pieces of beautiful old linen have been incorporated to bring out the textile patina. Internally the bowl has been glazed with a transparent glaze which has formed crystals in places and a lovely puddle in the bottom. It is a very usable and strong bowl but is beautiful just as an object.
