Thrown on the wheel in white clay this bowl was then altered in shape and the process of adding the frogspawn took place. Textiles are also used to create the effect of strands of vegetation. Inside the base has blue glass to represent clear water. This style of vessel was inspired by the vast number of tadpoles in the pond in our garden - there have been tadpoles in there for months… they must keep on multiplying! I have left the outside unglazed for a raw feel. Inside the bowl is smooth and glazed and could be used as a vase or maybe add water and a floating candle to continue the watery feel?
