Metal and Moss
This one off ceramic bowl has been about 1 year in the making and has undergone around 6 firings in the kiln as layers have been added until I was happy with the final effect of decay and age. It has the feel of an ancient iron or metal bowl that has rusted to the point of rust holes appearing and moss has gradually grown over it. The green and browns have mingled together as the layers have been built up over time and fabric was incorporated into the build to enable the cracks to form in a natural way.
The bowl is 28cm diameter x 16cm high
