Thrown on the wheel, this shallow porcelain bowl has had multiple firings and glazes added to gradually incorporate a barnacle encrusted form. It now looks authentically old with one particular glaze giving the effect of frothing waters at low tide. This body of work focuses on shorelines which is new to me as most of my work to date has been Cotswold inspired.
