This beautiful bird’s nest sets off the saggar fired porcelain eggs as an eye catching display. The eggs are fired in a sealed unit with combustible natural materials such as hay, straw, banana skins, avocado skins, coffee grains etc. They burn off during the firing process to create colours that change with each firing so nothing can be repeated. The nest comes with three eggs as shown. There are two large nests and the eggs in this nest are lighter in colour than the second and are shown in the left hand side of the photos below with both nests below.
Nest is 15cm diameter x 13cm deep.
