This is rather like a giant version of the versatile cups I make to test multiple glazes at one time. I love their fluid form and so decided to make a giant version as a statement piece. I mix all my own glazes and this is a demonstration of over 10 glazes all intertwining to form a unique piece that cannot be replicated. It has a very wide opening so easily sits a glass vase inside if you wanted to use it for flowers. In itself it isn’t entirely watertight although it has been fired to a high temperature. Just a sculptural piece in its own right.
