This bowl was made as a test bowl. Thrown on the wheel in a stoneware clay and then multiple glazes (that I freshly mixed up from scratch) were poured in and overlapped and my handwritten notes are on the base. I think it is a particularly successful result and the result is a usable bowl that is both a materials experiment but also sits comfortably in my coastal range of work due to the sandy colours. It is a fully usable bowl.
