Made from porcelain and black clay these mushrooms look gorgeous. They are made to order with a 2 week lead time. They can have cracks on the main body of the mushroom as the different shrinkage rates between the two clays can result in this effect. I patch these up for the second firing with more porcelain, which gives a richer texture on the body of the mushroom and a less 'perfect' finish which adds more appeal as mushroom caps naturally crack as they age.
